Eastshaw Guesthouse was originally built for the Harbour Master in Seaham, back in 1835. We hope that you’ll love our hospitality and the location of our Grade II, listed building by the sea which has been awarded 5 Stars from both “Scores on the Doors” and TripAdvisor!

Here at Eastshaw we operate an exclusive policy, whereby you will be the only guests for the duration of your stay, whether you are a single person or a party of six. So as soon as you confirm your booking, the guest house will be yours, for as long as you’re with us.

An excellent breakfast choice along with freshly made bread will served for you in our cosy dining room. We  guarantee you a sea view, with your own living room and wood burning stoves to sit beside. Tea, coffee and some treats await you in your room along with a flatscreen TV/DVD Player, hairdryer and clothes press.
The Guesthouse is a three minute walk from the popular “seaglass” beach and a couple of minutes away from some lovely restaurants, teashops and two ice-cream parlours. We’re also a short drive to the A19 and are well connected by rail and bus services to Durham, Newcastle and beyond.

We welcome you to spend some time relaxing and unwinding with sea views from your room whilst we care for your comfort.
